FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is TFS Platinum Ceramic Coating?
Platinum is a semi-permanent coating that creates an inseparable bond on a molecular level to your aircrafts painted surface. This protection is a 9H ceramic coating that is durable and long lasting, it has hydrophobic properties that repel water. This coating cannot be removed by chemicals like degreasers and solvents. It will be glossier, chemical resistant and provides incredible protection against deicing fluids and UV rays.
How long will TFS paint protections last?
Note: there are several variables that can affect the longevity of these protections.
* Platinum Ceramic Coating: will last 2 years if all the parameters mentioned above are met.
* Titanium Paint Protection: will last 12 months on average if the aircraft is flying 350 hours a year or less, is hangered and is cleaned regularly.
How do I maintain my aircraft after TFS Platinum ceramic coating?
After the coating is cured, we recommend using all of the approved TFS cleaners. This coating will withstand most chemicals. With our ceramic coating, degreasers and solvents will not remove the protection.
How do I remove TFS Platinum ceramic coating?

What is TFS Titanium Paint Protection?
It is a rich blend of polymers that is a reactive polymer coating. Titanium is not a wax and will not suffocate the paint.
Is Titanium a wax?
No, unlike wax which is a topical application that does not bond to the surface. Titanium is an acrylic polymer that bonds to the paint surface at a molecular level which flattens out the surface while giving UV protection.
What are the benefits of Titanium?
It is better to protect your aircraft today than having to spend the money to restore it tomorrow.
How long do I have to wait after a paint job to apply protection?
Most paint manufacturers recommend 30 days.
How do I maintain my aircraft after TFS Titanium paint protection?

Can TFS paint protection be applied to older paint?
To receive full benefits from the protections, the aircraft needs to be weathered and oxidation free. We highly recommend the paint surface to be at its best before any application. The paint protection systems will only enhance what is under the protection.
Can paint protections be applied to windows?
